August Garden Tour

Things have really changed since our last garden tour! The cutting garden is thriving…the moles are having a party in the garden paths, and the veggies are ripening.

Come along for the August grand tour!

Take a four minute video stroll through the garden.

August Garden Tour

Cosmos

There are several varieties of cosmos growing in the garden this year…Double Snow Puffs are new and Candy Stripes self-seeded from last year!

Dahlias

Do you have dinner plate Dahlias? If they are too large for arrangements…float them in a glass bowl!

We went to the Swan Island Dahlia Festival last weekend and found so many gorgeous “new to me” varieties…my shopping cart is full! Totally Tangerine is definatly a winner!

Zinnias

This bloom is named Envy…it is one of my favs! This is the second year for it in our garden and it has a very long vase life.

Poppys

Echinacea

Sunflowers
