August Book Selection

I’ve been perusing creative books and quilting magazines this month and there is nothing quite like spending time with visually inspiring images!

This month's book selection has a cozy theme that will keep you entertained. From flea market finds to creative style, the selection has something for everyone, especially those who appreciate quilting arts.

Let's dive into the August Book Selection

First up…Flea Market Flair by Lisa Marie Hart

This book has very colorful images of market finds and how to style them!

It also includes a list of international and domestic flea markets that look interesting!

And…I especially liked this vintage tennis racket wall art idea! Any tennis players out there?

Next up…Creative Style by Lizzie Mcgraw

This book is filled with beautiful images of homes with many different styles. It is organized by style which includes Coastal, Urban Boho, Mediterranean, and many others.

You will find it inspiring for home decorating as well as photography!

Moving on to…QuiltFolk

I found three Quiltfolk books/magazines at the library and was instantly hooked! Each issue has a regional theme and highlights quilters from that area. The stories are unique to each artist. I recommend these books even if you are not a quilter!

Issue 23 Mississippi

Issue 25 Rhode Island

Issue 26 North Carolina

And the final selection…Quilting Arts Magazine

If you are a quilter you probably know about this magazine. They are full of stories, tutorials. and techniques that are fun and doable for all skill levels!

So…if you are in the mood for a bit of inspiration…you can't go wrong with any of these choices. Grab a blanket, a cup of tea, and dig into the pages of these books. You won't be disappointed.
